2015 Pushcart Prize Nominations

It’s been a whirlwind of activity this past month at AP—between announcing longtime apt contributor Krysten Hill’s forthcoming chapbook, How Her Spirit Got Out, and celebrating our tenth anniversary, we’ve had a lot of exciting announcements to make. But the year’s not over yet, so we’ve some more exciting news, like our nominations for this year’s Pushcart Prize.

It was exceedingly difficult to choose among the strong work we published this year, but with that in mind, here are the nominated stories and poems we chose:

Emi Benn’s story “And Yet”
Kendra Fortmeyer’s story “The Exposed Nest,” published in apt’s Long Fiction issue, January 2015
Adam Graaf’s poem “At the Kuwait-Iraq Border”
Matt Jones’s story “The Kissy-Faced Cha Cha,” published in apt’s Long Fiction issue, January 2015
Dan Pinkerton’s poem “Window House”
S. Wagner’s poem “The Land of Enchantment”

Congratulations to our contributors!
