Pushcart Prize Nominations
Every year, we have the great pleasure of reading and publishing a wonderful selection of prose, poetry, essays, art, and other work that defies classification. Toward the end of each year, we somehow choose 4-6 individual pieces and nominate them for the Pushcart Prize.
This decision making process is never easy because we believe that everything we’ve published is worthy of nomination. With much admiration for the following writers and their work, here are our Pushcart Prize nominees for this year:
To Celebrate Like Champagne by David Bartone
Stairs, Seizing by Javier Berzal de Dios
Investment Banking in Reverse by Dolan Morgan
To Have and To Hold by N. A’Yara Stein
Return by Curtis Tompkins
Thank you to everyone who contributed to Volume II Issue I. If you don’t have a copy and you’d like to read the nominated stories and poems, as well as all of the other great work in the issue, you can order it here.
