This issue has one main dedication, along with a few subcategories as side notes. The latter first:
To the idea of the Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday workweek. May those of us with dayjobs never need to work more than two days in a row.
To those of us who must suffer through the more traditional workweek: may your stolen moments of creation be plentiful and productive.
To the upcoming solstice and its passing, for once it's passed, the days wax longer and allow us more light by which to read, write, paint, draw, compose, build, and prosper.
To time. Our idioms urge us to waste, bide, and even kill you. It could be for that reason that you occasionally evade us, without so much as a courtesy note. Please know that you are forgiven, and always welcome to return at your earliest convenience.
