Twenty issues. And what great strides we've made.
In the beginning, we hung flyers and scoured Craigslist for contributors. And now we've expanded to the point that we've enlisted fellow editors and colleagues who help us make apt as good as it is. This issue displays the breadth of content that we hope defines apt in some way. We never focus on just one genre or theme and that means we receive many submissions of varying styles and voices. Cultivating a certain literary diversity is fun for us and, we hope, for you as well.
As always, if you're looking for more Aforementioned and apt goodness, find us on Facebook. We keep that updated with happenings and goings-on like Carissa's Portraiure tour and any readings and art shows in which we're participating.
And now, we present the main attraction: Issue Twenty! Here, you will find short fiction by Dan Alamia, Ricky Garni, Luke Goebel, Mark Leirmo, Marvin Pinkis, Dustin Orin Talley and J.A. Tyler; verse by Gale Acuff, Terra Brigando, Liam Day, Annie Diamond, Bernard Henrie and George Moore; non-fiction by Vincent Zandri.
Thanks and enjoy the show,
