They say if you eat enough bananas
bugs are drawn to you
to bite
craving the potassium in your blood.

They say.

I wonder what I taste like
what they crave then detest
biters
some flying lopsided
because someone took bites from them.

I wonder how lopsided I'll fly after that last one
if I'll fly at all
or just remain here
caught between window pane and screen
for all to see.
